Margaret River had a bit of a lively vibe with foreign tourists around. It felt like just the right amount of people to make the town enjoyable without being overwhelming.

“You should definitely go with Schwalbe Marathon.”
That was the advice I received, and to my surprise, this person actually swapped out their own Marathon tire for me. I never imagined I would get my hands on a Marathon in this way.
Truly grateful.

One tire change and a total of two punctures were exhausting, but it was a great learning experience before facing the Nullarbor Road in about a month.

A walking trip after a long time. When I'm usually on my bike, I don't realize the beauty of walking. So, sometimes taking a walking trip allows me to look around slowly and see the finer details of the world, which is a big advantage.

Finally bought a bike trailer! I'll attach it when I return to Yamaguchi next month. I'm aiming to cycle around the world with this bike trailer!

Finally arrived! I'm staying with the family from Fukuoka who I met last year while cycling around Japan in Kochi Prefecture. It's shochu or sake every day here, so I'm going to build up my tolerance! 🔥
