This is why I prefer to hang out with groups at conferences… it’s sad that b/c of my personal experience & others’ stories, I would be reluctant to have a 1:1 conversation w/ a male I don’t know well already

Happened to me as a young computer scientist in the 90s: was at an @aaai.org conference in CA: a male whose talk interested me invited me to dinner to discuss, then hit on me, inc. touching me w/o consent. Got rid of him by mentioning I was a martial arts (태권도) student (I was ready to use on him)

Hey now, I love both cats & dogs, have owned both (currently 2 cats, requisite cute pics below): the only real conclusion from this study is to wash your hands after cleaning litter boxes & touching cats… & be careful not to get bitten! All things I already do. 😻

Conclusion of Dr. Mate keynote at #AMIA2025 is inspirational : concrete tasks to do “by next Tuesday” with teamwork (we are in this together) - to elaborate my interpretation on #1 : Set quantitative “bold aims”
November 16, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Lastly, Dr. Mate at #AMIA2025 says need:
“5. Relentless Execution”
inc. being “adaptive in real time” to deliver
November 16, 2025 at 7:43 PM
#AMIA2025 Mate adds “4. Avoid ‘theory lock’”
= simple rules are not enough; instead, try multiple strategies at same time to find what works

What about those born intersex? So shortsighted. At least they "oppose the indiscriminate mass deportation of people."

Can’t wait to find out what they saw - even if they cleaned it up before the tour, you can’t hide the toll I’m sure the conditions have taken on the poor people detained there.

Wow I didn’t realize there was more than just (essentially) pepper in “pepper spray”: lead, barium!? No wonder it can cause miscarriages, among other more obvious (i.e. respiratory) health risks. So wrong.

I can’t tolerate those kind of lights, as someone with ADHD they are super distracting. I know some people who have autism can’t either… I can understand though why some people might like them though.

In the alt text for the image, for visually impaired, in addition the description data points as you listed (thanks!), describe the differing trends over time represented by the lines in the graph, as that is main point of a graph, to demonstrate trends harder to “see” in a list of numbers.
