I know people like to say that complex topics can be expressed in tokipona, but has anyone ever tested that?
Like, have a person learn a complex topic described only in tokipona, then have them talk to an expert in that topic to see if they actually understood it.

the toki pona translation of genesis 38 is now proofread by a hebrew proofreader and is almost done being proofread by a toki pona proofreader. once it's done, it will be the second chapter in genesis to have a double peer-reviewed translation in toki pona!

In just 10 days I've made it further with tokipona than I did with japanese in a year or french in 5 years.
with this knowledge I'm kinda tempted to go and learn a standard language.
I kinda feel an obligation to finish this project and get conversationally fluent in TP first tho.
