Shiny New World will screen at the Short Movie Sunday 2025 on Nov 30, from 16.00 to 21.00 at the Volkshotel in Amsterdam. Multiple blocks of shorts will screen continuously that day. The film is part of a special program curated by Shortcutz Amsterdam. 🎬

I had fun painting this small 12 by 12 cm 3D-print of the Octalus monster from Deep Rising (1998). A creature designed by the legendary Rob Bottin. A proper statue or figure doesn't exist yet, so I was thrilled to discover a 3D-model online. Maybe a fun hobby project for @realgdt.bsky.social too. 🙂

Shiny New World has been selected for the Hatching Ravens showcase of the BIF Market in Belgium! Together with producer Monique van Kessel I will be attending the market from April 14 to 18 to pitch the film. Looking forward to meeting new potential partners!

Spelletjesavond (Game Night) has been selected for the Dutch Film Festival in Vancouver, Canada! It screens on March 25 at 7pm as part of a short film program. And in good company too: Oscar winner I'm Not A Robot and BAFTA winner Wander To Wonder are also part of the program. 🤩
