Great to see so many people getting involved for the first time!

Now that @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is the Democratic nominee, the party needs to get behind him.

We've made a spreadsheet tracking whether NYC Dems have stepped up yet. Please let your elected Dem know it's time to step up and support Zohran in the general!

Sometimes in campaigns ypu meet the most remarkable people.

Herbert Murray turned his wrongful incarceration into a story of justice & perseverance. He was willing to fiercely go toe to toe with anyone, including a mayor, to close Rikers. Sadly, prison took years off his life.

May he rest in power

Proud to stand with @schumer.senate.gov and some great Staten Island community leaders calling out the destructive cuts to SNAP in the Republican budget.

Excited to share that SIDA (Staten Island Democratic Association), the borough's largest club, is endorsing @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social for Mayor!

I have always felt that the "COVID-era crime bump" should have been treated as a consequence of societal disruption from COVID. Crime is down bc we are in a different moment.

And now @JohnKRoman has a brilliant essay explaining just that:

I agree with Senator Kennedy (R-LA) that it is both unconstitutional and immoral to send Americans to prisons overseas, as do most people in both parties.

Wild that this is even needs to be said, but we'll keep saying it as long as we have to.

Definitely not feeling these vibes.

This moment calls for students of conscience to band together & make themselves heard like no other in recent memory.

Free speech and the right to dissent are on the line. Students can push universities and companies to stay bold.

Full house at healthcare town hall in Stapleton, Staten Island.

Rep. Malliotakis is MIA, and her constituents are furious and fired up about her vote to gut Medicaid.

Not every day that I agree with Matt Yglesias, but I'll take it!

Today was our biggest protest yet against Rep. Malliotakis on Staten Island.

Thanks to everyone who came out!

Another day, another peotest at Rep. Nicole Malliotakis' office! We may be the forgotten borough, but we won't let her forget this vote.

Last weekend more than 100 people protested Rep. Malliotakis' vote to gut Medicaid. Nearly every passing car honked in support.

Amazingly, this crowd gathered based off a single online graphic.

Believe in the energy of this moment! People are ready to fight!

11 years ago I saw Andrew Cuomo's corruption up close. He hasn't changed, and that's why he's the wrong person to lead New York City.

Let me take you back to when Cuomo weaponized an anti-corruption to protect his friends & investigate his enemies:

Packed room for off-shore wind summit on Staten Island!

Don't let the admin's rhetoric discourage you - this industry is here to stay, bringing good jobs & clean energy to our communities.

We are shocked and saddened to share the news of Cynetra Freeman's passing.

She was a tenacious criminal justice advocate and a friend. We will miss her and continue to fight in her memory.

Remember this next time Tom Cotton kills a criminal justice bill over his alleged concerns for public safety and following the law.
