My daughter's new phone won't fit in the small pocket of her backpack. She is worried about it getting scratched & asked if I could make her a pouch to keep it safe in the main part of her backpack. She picked the fabric for me to use.

Started sorting and trimming my (red/orange) scrap bin while listening to an audiobook. All TVs in the house turned off but set to channels other than networks just in case.

Scrappy 2" Squares Quilt

My daughter picked out the squares for her quilt. Some are made from old, comfy PJs and a blanket belonging to her sweet cat that passed. Backing is one of her childhood flannel sheets.
