Yea, if it wasn't intended to be included in the final product I agree. Black Ops 7 is a bit different though since they specifically used it to create the banners for the in-game-profiles.

And yes, most of the current cases said they used it as "placeholders" during development, but the bigger question is, why were they not transparent about it? Knowing how heated the whole discussion around AI is I seriously doubt it's a slip-up during any internal review process 😬2/2

lead with the actual in-game world of CO, but the way they did it was horrible IMO because now I don't care for the real world within CO & I certainly don't care for the paint buckets. Well, we don't live in a Bob Ross painting & we're real people with stupid hobbies. That's the difference. 2/2

I disagree, whether you stay inside or not, the inside isn't real & the world confined. So to me all characters I started to fall in love with lost all validity for me at that moment. For me, what I thought could be a great fantasy story turned into an abysmal one. In my opinion they should've 1/2

I'm talking about the fact that everything you do in COE33 up to "that" point & the game world itself doesn't matter, because it's not real. So to me it's not a stretch. Imagine playing The Witcher 3 & then at some point some character wakes up in a cutscene & says "oh wow, that was a wild dream"

I don't want to spoil the story, so I'll phrase it as spoiler-free as possible: I found the world intriguing & really liked the characters until the twist in Act 2 (I expected this to happen, but kept hoping I'd be wrong, I wasn't). But it all dissipated into nothingness once the twist happened

I still don't understand why COE33 is so hyped up. After reaching a certain story point for the first time ever I felt a game disrespected my time. I expect it'll win GOTY but for me personally it doesn't deserve it one bit. What does deserve a price though IMHO is the music, which is incredible.

I looked up the ending of the game then but it did nothing for me, once I reached the point of the story where it plummeted for me.
