Agreed for the United States. But if you’re, say, in Switzerland … the expensive chocolate is worth paying for, and dark chocolate is more than just a more bitter version of milk chocolate, too.

And of course, this comes after spending decades lecturing progressives on how they have to vote for centrist democrats because the republican alternative is worse. But the moment a progressive is the nominated candidate, “Vote blue no matter who” goes out the window.

A lot depends on how you define useful. Seen purely as a promotional or business tool, Twitter may have been better. But promotional business tools aren’t the only thing many of us look for in social media.
