It is amazing to think that they built this whole village around the manufacturing of a bar of soap - Sunlight soap. This beautiful Merseyside village was built by William Lever to house his factory workers. Port Sunlight - a wonderful place to visit. 😀

Yesterday was a sad day as it was the second family funeral that we'd been to in a month. However, I did come away with this large framed photograph. It is believed to be my husband's grandfather. The next task is to carefully remove the backing for any further clues. #genealogy #FamilyHistory

A murky walk to Hiorne Tower in the park at Arundel. This folly was built in the late 1700's by Francis Hiorne at the request of the Duke of Norfolk. 😀 #Arundel #folly
