Lil subadult Shingleback trying to get some winter sun at Mt Ainsleigh, Canberra. Perfectly content to hang in the sunny spot by his shelter log, saw him in the same spot half an hour later on my walk back :)

Lungfish and Tetrapods diverged some 420 million years ago. Casually finding this living fossil in a local creek line was surreal!
