Avid lurker.
Kiki also had a vet visit today. She didn’t like it either.

In Pittsburgh, PA, yinzers call it a buggy. I’m originally from western New York so I call it a shopping cart

I once had to print German (or maybe Austrian?) train tickets on A4 paper per the train company instructions; I used US legal size (8.5x14) and then cut it down to A4 size. I appreciate that now most European train tickets can now be bought, stored, and presented via an app.

Whenever I hear or think of this song, I think of this Pittsburgh bike rack, one of many clever artistic bike racks in the city pghmurals.blogspot.com/2016/10/pitt...

I was delighted when the bartender at Six Flags Great America remembered me from the day before and then went out of her way to cut up fresh limes for my gin & tonic.

I took a leisurely overnight train trip from Lisbon to Madrid ten years ago. No regrets; I love trains, even that slow-ass Lisbon-Madrid train.

Mine look like that, or worse, thanks to a cat who thought they made an excellent scratching post.

Technically, you can reuse them throughout the day I guess but they start to degrade with multiple uses and it’s not very sanitary. I usually use one after most meals (or use floss). I buy the big Costco pack. It lasts a while.

Black Diamond Cheddar is produced in Canada. I know from experience that Canada is pretty strict about the amount of cheese you can take from the US to Canada w/out paying duty. In 2015 I think it was $20 worth per person.

If this was the book that described erections as “blue veiners” & “diamond cutters” I too probably read it before I should have.

If you like Manhattans, Averna is great for a Black Manhattan (with Rittenhouse Rye 2:1, orange bitters, and a Luxardo cherry).

Guilty of putting the tiny Canadian flag that a border officer once gave me on a Canada Day bridge crossing on my backpack for a European trip during the Bush years. (Didn’t really help; some lady really laid into us on a train in Budapest for George W Bush’s war)

I bought these ridiculously overpriced scratching posts to protect the arms of a new sofa. Not super attractive, but they protect the couch and the cats seem to love them. (You could probably easily make something similar yourself.) www.chewy.com/sofa-scratch...
