I miss my pup. He’s vacationing with his best friend Elvis (my now deceased father’s dog) at my sister’s while our son recuperates from back surgery. Here they are hanging out at our house a couple of years ago. (Elvis had just arrived so he was still on his leash).

That’s exactly what I want! Toby is more poodle than shih tzu and is extremely smart, too. I just think we need a younger dog to keep him young.

I hear some of the No Kings protests in the suburbs of Minneapolis and St Paul still took place, but I’m sure the numbers were much smaller after the Gov canceled them. I decided to go shore fishing with the hubs and son. I caught the only fish so far, but I would have rather been at the rally.

Mine are blooming too, but the rain is destroying them. Hope the rest of the buds open next week. Looks like we have a similar kind! I don’t know what they are, I’m the fourth generation to have them.

Feed cleanser. My white peonies are blooming, but we’ve had a lot of rain so they are looking pretty rough. These are my great grandmother’s, handed down three generations to me.

Minnesota Frost won back-to-back PWHL championships and we were at the game! Also, son was home all week. Will be lonely when he goes back to CA tomorrow to work for ten days.
