So far we've been getting far fewer submissions this month than we have for previous issues and instead of thinking, "Oh, they'll turn up by the deadline on October 31!" I think, "Good God, literature is dead." I guess I will learn which one is correct in two weeks. hkwcmagazine.substack.com
