Hopefully one outcome is that insurers backing Russia's fleet of flagged and ghost tankers raise their rates, or refuse to insure Russian cargo altogether. That has a similar effect to sanctions.

It'll take weeks to withdraw all critical equipment with that number of aircraft. Anyone who has mounted/deployed or a medium sized military deployment (or retrograded one) knows how quickly space and weight fills up!
