Love debug overlays. Need to balance the voxel heights better against Jolt's fixed heightfield triangulation, as we can sometimes disappear inside the terrain.🤨Which goes a little beyond desirable jankiness. #gamedev #indiedev #screenshotsaturday (yeah, it's Sunday, I care not...)

Big shout to the makers of ArchieSDK (on Gitlab), a GCC cross-compiler for early Acorn Archimedes (A3020 here). Very easy porting my Snowscape (Midwinter clone) to it. Can just write C/ASM in VSCode and then cross-compile straight over to the emulator or hardware. Very cool indeed. 😎 #retrogaming

Back to retro for a bit. Got this experimental "PowerMonger" building with GCCSDK rather than Norcroft C, which means cross-compiling in VSCode straight to the Archimedes (A3020 here). Loading level data from the original MSDOS map data file here. #RETROGAMING #archimedes
