And I have NO clue why my game design professor insisted on Photoshop for animation, instead of Character Animator, Adobe Animate, or LITERALLY anything else.
I understand how to animate, but I usually don't have the extra money to get actual animation programs...

I went to college for video game design a few years ago, but the classes I had were awful.
There, I used Maya, Construct 2, Photoshop for animation, and started learning JavaScript for general use, I think?
My professors offered very little instruction on how to use these programs.
