He’s now the Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services for Leicestershire County Council! Massive budget and responsibilities. He’s going to be busy fitting this around his ongoing degree course in computer Science.

Some scrutiny needed here. Reform appoint Joseph Boam (23) deputy leader and member for Adult Social Care. His views on depression for one don’t bode well.

Reminds me of my late brother in law. He carried his oxygen around in a tatty Waitrose bag. Got a nice hessian bag for my niece’s wedding but no he was having none of it. Here he is with my other niece and of course the Waitrose bag.

Sadly there are people here who think he’s doing a good job.
I hope people around the world will watch and learn but these days so many people are disengaged with world events I’m not holding my breath.
On another note we’ve had some lovely weather up north recently. It’s been a welcome relief.
