Unbelievable. Chills.

Tens of thousands of teachers converging downtown just outside where Danielle Smith is addressing an audience.

I’ve never seen anything like this.

Time to listen up, Premier.

Time for a fair deal.

We stand with teachers.

❤️✊

Evan! 🙌

Feeling so inspired and hopeful after meeting with Evan Li. What an incredible young man.

Thank you for using your voice, Evan, and thank you for encouraging so many others to do the same.

Today, and every day, we stand with students and we stand with teachers.

On World Teachers’ Day, here’s a little throwback to Ms. Irwin teaching high school 💅

And though it’s been a while since I taught, I’ve never forgotten what it was like to be in a classroom. My heart is with teachers and all they’re dealing with. I see you and I stand with you. Always. ❤️

The workers united will never be defeated!

HSAA members are some of the many workers across the province who are standing up and speaking out.

We’re stronger together, friends.

Keep standing up for workers, for our healthcare system, for education, and for a better Alberta for all.

Just taking it all in as a few hundred kids from Victoria School rallied in support of trans rights this morning.

Someone said to me that these kids are the leaders of tomorrow. And I said no.

They’re the leaders of today and they’re stepping up where our so-called leaders won’t.

Even days after hearing the news, it’s hard to have the right words.

Our hearts are so heavy as we mourn the loss of Dr. Darren Markland. He was a bright, compassionate light for our city, province, and beyond.

We love you Dr. Markland.

You made our world so much better.

Rest easy, friend.

Chills. Thousands of Alberta high school students walked out of class to the legislature. They’re fighting back against UCP attacks on education. They’re standing up for teachers. They’re our future and I couldn’t be prouder.

As I get another year older, I’m reminded of how incredibly grateful I am to all of you for your support.

Donate $41 for my 41st to help us build the better Alberta we know is possible.

…and you’ll get a sweet tax credit, stickers, and a thank you card from me! 🧡

BREAKING! 🚨

Egale Canada and Skipping Stone have just won an injunction against the UCP’s egregious Bill 26.

The UCP can now do the right thing and rescind their anti-trans legislation, and respect human rights.

They can start focusing on the real issues that Albertans care about.

381.

That’s how many people experiencing homelessness died on Edmonton streets in 2024.

These are more than numbers.

These are people who loved and were loved.

They are so missed.

We need to do so much better.

Oh hi I’m at Concordia University of Edmonton Convocation and so is Nathan Fillion!

Congratulations on your honorary degree and thank you for all you’ve done to represent Edmonton!

And congrats to all the incredible graduates!

Yesterday, I was at an event downtown when someone said “are you going to hang out with the cats in Paul Kane Park?”

I said, “pardon me?” and headed there immediately.

Edmonton Cat Festival brought a little cat heaven to our city and I was here for it.

Exactly this.
It’s shameful.
And it’s cowardly.
Call the by-elections, Premier.
May 18, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Incredibly powerful.

So many First Nations from all across Alberta gathered today at the legislature with one clear message for the UCP: respect our treaties.

No one here wants your separatist agenda, Premier.

Kill Bill 54.

And as one chief said today, if you don't like it here, you can leave.
May 16, 2025 at 2:30 AM
No one can accuse me of wasting taxpayer dollars! 😌

One neat thing we get to do as MLAs is write notes for guests that the Alberta Legislature pages deliver.

I’ve had many days in the chamber, but I committed I won’t get new notepads until I use up all the ones from former MLA Brian Mason!
