I will be starting in Basel as Associate Professor and Head of the Sustainability Research Group on 01.06., so you would be participating in the initial building up of the group - I myself was in the same position in my postdoc, and it's a really valuable learning experience!

I conceive this as a nice transitional position for a person with a Master’s degree that is interested in continuing on in academia and wants to gain some experience and insights in doing (particularly qualitative) research. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

Projects mainly are focused on sustainability governance in global value chains of tropical commodities; tasks range from data organization to support in data analysis, lit review, and writing papers.

Small print: Applicants need to be based in Spain but work-from-home is possible; need to have a uni degree in political science, sustainability, economics, business administration, social sciences or a related field, with exposure to research methods
