i have to admit to something. there's a controversial simmer who's "marketing" annoys the shit out of me. popular, not a GC, doesn't play 3/2. tbh I'm getting very bad vibes, even without this person's views

I don't watch TS4 content, shout-out to those who actually care and are not like "o.o it's doomed anyway a new kit is coming". And BTW a new kit is good for TS4 standards but still not worth 5$ when I can download better items

The Sims 4 in 2025 is a whole new game ever since I've left playing (post Uni expansion). Apparently they've done 2 animal-related expansions? You get romantic preferences? A smartphone? A perfect micromanagement life simulator if you don't want a generational gameplay.

oh boy, EA getting bought by the Saudis... not on my bingo card but I doubt they're shutting down TS4. Money is their #1 priority and they'll do anything to get the sweet revenue. Anyway, go play in Barnacle Bay as Alexandra Teatherthon.

I won't lie... I get the urge to play PS4 sometimes, at least to see what's changed since 2020. Then I read another post about save getting corrupted and I'm like nah, I'm not sinking my time into it.

VOD/Netflix? My attention span is too weak for those
Console/gaming? Can't mod games, console is not worth it for me.

I'm reading more and more about the save corruption in 4 and I feel like the history repeats itself. 2 had "corruption" until 21/22 and OneDrive taking over, 3 has lags and Error 12.

How is multiplayer a 5th most requested feature in InZOI? If you think of it, managing it would be a mess. Imagine you'd get a server troll who starts fires or kills, players teaming up, obvious miscommunication, manipulation, rehosts. How would concent work? Would it turn into a text-based game,?
