I totally agree, that’s the best bit of all of it! 😊👍 I just needed help with sorting the angles needed to fix the legs in properly so they would actually support someone sitting on the chair! I also learned a lot about how much wood can bend & curve if it’s steamed 😮. It’s amazing & so much fun!

I did all the axe work, carving & smoothing creating the different elements from the starting log, but needed a lot of help & supervision from the excellent tutor to do all the calculations & methods of fitting it all together! I definitely couldn’t have done that bit on my own! 😳

I think it’s great to start anywhere with green woodwork! I’m not good at it, but have done workshops & built a stool & 2 chairs! I was shown how to carve spoons & have muddled through making them, I would love to do more! 💚💚
