A retired English teacher, I moved back to the Lake George Area with my husband to read, write (poetry & memoir), scrapbook, swim, boat, hike, and horseback ride. As a lifelong learner and bibliophile, I’m embracing new opportunities in my Act II of life.
I just finished it yesterday for my book group, and passed it to the next reader like a hot potato. It was masterful and deserving of the National Book Award. I’m settling down to read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which I haven’t read since 11th grade.

Zoe being the cute silky terrier that she was for our family. We miss her since she crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 9.
