I've long earned a living as a national journalist, but nothing has thrilled me as much as payments I received as a finalist in the @mslexia.bsky.social Poetry Comp and for a poem in Crannóg Magazine. Hoping my poetry book, out in Jan 26 from @flyonthewallpress.bsky.social, will earn me much more!

Perhaps #InternationalWomensDay is a good day to introduce myself on Bluesky, although one day will never be enough, not with the worldwide levels of domestic abuse and woman murder as they are now #domesticviolence #DSGBV
