We use one of these to dry clothes in the colder months in northern Germany. Not all clothes can go into the dryer, so this kind of works.

Same but maybe because the regrettable documentation gets lots and forgotten and so the opportunity cost never gets accounted for.

I am not doubting that trans fats are bad. I am saying that trans fats are mostly banned where I live, so margarine is now better for me because it doesn't contain saturated fats, unlike butter. Note that I use both.

Yeah, that's what the article says but they down play the arguments for margarine and mention a lack of consensus. Seems like the jury is still out.

No biochemist here but I looked into this recently, before I switched to margarine, and since lots of those bad fats were banned where I live, margarine might actually be better for me because it has less of those bad fats that butter has.

So what's different? I thought that today's internet is much more optimised for making money than 10 years ago. And if it sells more, it should be better.

Yeah, it's absolutely horrible and unsafe. I've done this a few times. Would absolutely not recommend. I take the bus now. Going outside in the winter is just unpleasant and biking in the winter doesn't make sense.
