I’ve stayed off all social media thinking it to be toxic and not wanting any association with it at all. Sticking my head in the sand maybe. But I can’t take this; how do I protest? How do I stand up to this ? Please tell me. Hope not hate. I’m clinging on by my finger nails.

I can honestly say I’ve never seen a woman in Britain wearing a Burka. I saw a woman in her 80’s with tattooed stocking seams going up her legs in Tesco this morning, that was interesting.

I felt very proud of Parliament today. A sobering subject approached with dignity and and the seriousness it deserves. I understand the concerns. An issue where we discover there’s more than black and white in debate. Perhaps we unite in the grey area and that’s where the work will be done.
