Rotherham also has its own Symphony orchestra and a Chamber ensemble, as well as a brand new multi-plex cinema. It's accessible by train from York, Leeds or Doncaster or by tram or bus from Sheffield.

Rotherham has the Minster, a beautiful gothic church and the largest parish church in Yorkshire. It has attractive buildings a mediocre League one football team, 4 great coffee shops and the Chantry brewery producing a range of delightful beers and very friendly people

I live in the town of Rotherham in South Yorkshire, one of the so-called left behind towns. When people mention Rotherham they think of the grooming scandal of which ended in 2013 and the riot at an asylum seekers hotel, which was way out of town almost in Barnsley

The recent court judgement in the UK was not only disappointing but a disaster for transpeople in my country. We must campaign to reverse it.
