Remember when Obama wore a tan suit? Yea those were the good ol’ peaceful days.

Why do I think this is another Weapons Of Mass Destruction?

Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far:

A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.

I'm all for empowering women. The Blue Origin, all female passengers, are NOT astronauts or explorers. None of the participants, men or women, who have gone up are--they've been passengers who learned to unbuckle seat belts to float around for 2 minutes. It's an amusement park ride for rich people.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Cory Booker is doing what Quintilian and Cicero were doing: exposing corruption in government and asking senators to do better.

This is how you show up for the American People.
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

We knew what we were getting. We are writing what we wrote in 2016 but Trump knows how to play the game better. He's different this time. Confident in what he's undertaking because he found loyalists. But for how long?

The only reason that the GOP is attacking public media is that they probably don't understand that it's nonfiction and is meant to inform. Trump's administration wants to make America uninformed and clueless. That's how powerful people control the masses. He's running Putin's playbook.

It's nice to pull up a @rushkoff.com Frontline documentary. Tomorrow I plan on showing "Generation Like" to jumpstart conversations about using teens (influencers) to brand and do PR for companies.

Of course he makes sense. He's not a Republican out for revenge. He's for the American People--not against us.
Senator Cory Booker -- nearly 23 hrs into this -- is more coherent than your average elected official speaking (while seated) at an average legislative hearing.

Even if you haven't been watching all along, dip in for a moment -- he is making considerable sense:

I believe the journalist.
I have a hard time believing there was no classified info in the Signal chat given The Atlantic report of Hegseth's communications in the group about targeting and attack plans.

And ...

Pro Tip: The federal crimes that are most relevant to this do not depend on the information being classified.
Trump on military plans shared by Pete Hegseth in a Signal group included a reporter: "There was no classified information as I understand it."

Maybe that's why they used the app?
🚨 CBS News has received an internal NSA bulletin from Feb 2025 warning staff NOT to use Signal app for sensitive info, citing vulnerabilities to Russian hackers. These docs were sent pre-Houthi chat scandal with Jeffrey Goldberg.
NSA warned of vulnerabilities in Signal app a month before Houthi strike chat
The National Security Agency sent a bulletin in February warning of Russian hackers trying to access encrypted conversations on Signal.

We knew this administration was going to be a joke. There's no leadership. There's not real plan. It's all about making it up as they go along. They have no concept of a plan.

The media just needs to keep showing what an embarrassment the Trump administration is becoming. Keep poking that Achilles heel. He hates people making fun of him and how stupid his appointees are making him look.
March 25, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Write your Senators and Representatives. Let your voice be heard. Ask that ol' Petey resign from the Department of Defense. He obviously isn't qualified.
Trump Administration officials accidentally texted a reporter their secret war plans. How does this happen? They must be investigated.

Collins: Do you think someone should be fired over this?

Buttigieg: Absolutely… if there’s not accountability for a screw up like this, especially from a president who used to fire people on television for sport, what are we even doing here..

As more and more people who supported Trump are seeing the consequences of their decisions--Democrats need to swoop in and start talking to this demographic. Start podcasts. Start talking about issues they care about. Talk about what happens in their every day lives not what YOU think they need.
February 26, 2025 at 11:53 PM
This is how they will win in midterm elections. Start penetrating rural areas and start deprogramming Trump supporters. Democrats need to get to work NOW!

Talk about the issues that matter to these areas in their everyday lives.
Democrats: Empty libraries, gymnasiums, lecture halls, anywhere. Book the space and dare these pathetic House Republicans to show their faces.

Republicans are too chickenshit to hold town halls. Shocker.

Here’s an idea: Democrats, hold town halls in Republican districts.

I don’t want to get sucked into reaction posts. Protect your peace. I used to love researching politics. I just can’t right now. I keep thinking— where do I start?
February 21, 2025 at 10:13 PM
I believed every word Trump was saying that people were not tuning into. And here we are with people who voted for him shocked! No we told you what was going to happen. This is on the Trump voters.
