For Valentines 💝 the traditional mothering Sunday £1 fresh daffodils are absolutely fine. Smell lovely as they open, and usually locally grown.

More reading today. Lucie Rie from the exhibition at Kettle's Yard 2023. A Jewish refugee from Vienna, already known as an artist potter, she was able to send the basis of her studio to London in 1938. Made buttons to begin with, made a British Citizen in 1948 by Labour.
