I’ve been thinking about why I am the way that I am, and I think it might have to do with having a poster of Desiderata on my toilet door growing up.
Multiple times a day, every day, I was sat 2 foot away from these amazing words and I read them all every time.
It shaped everything about me.

Our tree has inbuilt lights so he looks way more dressed than he should. A lot of the branches still need to be separated but at least Father Christmas is where he belongs.

I was knitting and watching a Christmas movie and I suddenly had the urge to eat pretzels so I’m making some from scratch 😂
This is the first time I’m making them and I don’t think I made the ropes long enough because they look like little poos 😂

It must be well above zero here today because I can see that the snow on the ski slopes is looking a little thin. I’m not a skier myself, but I did feel sad when the skiers didn’t have enough snow to ski on last year.

Yesterday I spent 6 hours making the IKEA Brimnes bed with headboard for my son and this morning my body is letting me know that it got a full workout 🫣
It’s totally worth it though.

What a beautiful clear and crisp morning it is here.
Yesterday I spent 6 hours making the IKEA Brimnes bed with headboard for my son and this morning my body is letting me know that it got a full workout 🫣
