A blowout success: Forty-eight patrons attended my reading from my outdoors-adventure memoir Miscalculated Risks at Paulina Springs Books last night, and the bookstore's remaining stock (25 copies) was quickly sold out at the event!

At least two of the Court’s Republicans — Justices Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett — appeared very likely to join the three Democratic justices in striking down Trump's tariffs, and they will likely be joined by Chief Justice John Roberts. That leaves three votes for Trump, but it's not enough.
