Liquid Sky is such a great movie. I couldn't tell you half of what's going on in it, but God it's just such an experience. Enormous trans vibes, obviously, but even beyond that, the aesthetics, the horrible, abrasive soundtrack, the commentary on fashion as social performance and control, etc.

Kings. It had real problems, its time slot being the worst of them, but it also had a genuinely interesting premise, some solid performances, and something that I just can't quantify that grabbed me about it. It deserved a second season, at least.
