Much, much, MUCH better. Time has a rather odd view of Person of the Year, based more on a measure of newsworthiness; cultural impact, and controversy rather than a measure of contribution or courage. Sometimes they get it right, many times - such as this - not.

I follow this YouTuber, too. :) I enjoy her thoughtful take on the USA from her newer European perspective, and being European myself - I concur!

Thanks @Punk. While I certainly agree we need to be bolder and more progressive, I'm not aligned with your views on Biden and Harris. With the right mandate, I believe Harris would have been an excellent, reform-minded president.

Hi Jack - I'm tiny and would love to be included :) Post: Republicans torch the barn, the house, and the fields, and are just warming up, but when Biden lights a candle to bring a survivor through the smoke, they, the media, and even some democrats scream 'arson.'

The real challenge runs deeper than messaging. Even if we master social storytelling, we're still competing against raw emotional forces Trump unleashed. We need policies bold enough to match people's pain, stories personal enough to reflect their lives, and messages that honor both anger AND hope.

It's all about how the AI Agent is trained - and that's done with human 'rules' ... if the human intent is bad, the AI-led process will be too. It doesn't have to be this way, though.

So many battle fronts: disinformation, legal and institutional warfare, cheap popularism, corruption, ignorance, obscene amounts of money & influence from businesses, billionaires, & bad-faith actors. Still, as you've shown us, Marc, the way to redirect a river is one pebble, one sandbag at a time.

It's not about age. Jamie Raskin is an outstanding leader. Strong, fire-tested, an extraordinary intellect, agile, fearless, and you know, kinda constitutional. I have great respect for Nadler - a good man - but Jamie is a different force to be reckoned with.

Lara Trump as a Senator. beggars belief, but makes sense as the payoff for the role she played in his win. She's certainly wriggled and warbled her way into Trump's heart.
