My theory is the government will shut down leaving only essential workers. Then Musk will propose we don’t need those nonessential workers and will lay them all off

HBO aired a documentary about Synanon last spring -- The Synanon Fix. It was well done, but there was one thing missing for me.

I'm new to Bluesky. So happy to be off X, which I never really interacted with much. I'm retired and have finished my memoir about living in a cult. Yep, I even shaved my head. Interesting to watch the parallels between the Trump "cult" and Synanon. Stay tuned.
