Many of them do. Others are in it for the money and the fame and the freebies.

While it’s not a conspiracy, there has been a lot of hissing from the sidelines that could be described as coordinated. Don’t underestimate how much they hate the BBC for not belonging to them.

Those people have been gunning for the BBC for years. in almost daily articles in the times, the Telegraph, the daily mail, they have been trying to sow discontent. I am not saying the BBC is perfect – far from it – but I am saying that the right hates it with a particular intensity.

Nowadays, it’s a euphemism for the superrich.
