Another year of Rutgers NeuroSURP Program is in the books and we are so proud of the undergrads who came to Rutgers for the summer to perform Neuroscience research and learn about career options with an advanced degree. Kudos to all of the students and thanks to the their PIs and peer mentors!

A week celebrating academic success with our Rutgers School of Graduate Studies convocation where our PhD students were hooded & then an awards ceremony to honor those who have achieved the highest level of scholarly research, teaching contributions or community service. I'm filled with pride!

Postdocs are still the lifeblood of innovation in academia so Rutgers Health held its second successful Postdoc Peek this week! 18 talented scientists who are looking fo postdoc positions came to campus to give amazing talks, meet with faculty, tour core facilities and chat with current postdocs.

Learning to develop an effective writing process in science is a critical skill. Rutgers grad students and postdocs were treated to a workshop by Judith Swan from Princeton University today. We learned how to structure scientific text and to improve our process for writing. Thank you all!
