Me: sports superstitions are ridiculous.
Also me: well, they won both times I wore my 1992 World Series sweater (original owner of that was my dad, it’s the real deal) and at the kitchen table painting so… I’m never watching anywhere else with any other sweater.

Today was: windows open, outside play, discoveries of budding trees, ice cream, yard work, scrubbing dirt off fingers and small kiddo knees, and all those wonderful spring things. ☀️

Back in 2020, after years of trying to get brave enough to donate blood, I made an appointment. That day I would go, sob my anxiety out to a nurse named Judy, and then finally do that first donation. Well, today I did my 10th and also got to see Judy again for the first time and thank her. 🧡
