Through backroom deals in the cover of darkness, the just-released managers amendment makes clear that this bill has changed for the worse, terminating more Americans’ health care coverage even more quickly.

The budget bill guts Medicaid, eliminating health care benefits for 15 million Americans. Representative Mike Lawler said he would vote no if there’s even a dollar in cuts to Medicaid benefits.
