True. But the vendors don’t set up the show, take in the quilt entries, arrange to have them juried and judged or recruit the teachers and register people for the classes. That’s what the 8 MQG Quiltcon staffers do. Oh yeah, I forgot about recruiting and organizing the volunteers. It’s a huge job.

The staffing level would have to be duplicated for each regional show that is added. There are only 8 people on staff for QuiltCon. And the vendors would have to agree to support multiple Quiltcons every year. They have commitments to other shows.

I am still working, so I will be ok even if my income payments are delayed but I know that many people are not in the same situation. I called one of my Senators but I tea want them working on far more important issues.

I contacted Patty Murray’s office and let them know. Since I am still working, I will be fine if it’s delayed but so many people are not in as secure a place and of course Musk & tRump don’t give a f*ck!
