New writing idea, combine the metric and imperial system so I don't have to decide which to use. Kilofeet, miliinches, decamiles, that kind of thing. I think everyone would love that.

I love 2 A.M. writing thoughts. "I should have written book 1 and 2 in past tense, so I can randomly switch to present tense right now near the end of book 3. Everyone would love that, and I'd be so clever." What was I even thinking?

I wanted to do a non-canon bonus chapter for Christmas, and I've accidentally fallen in love with it. It pains me for it to not be canon, but at least people will get to read it.

It arrived! The first ever printed copy of my book! There's a few little things that need to be fixed before the actual release, but that's fine. It's just so cool to actually be holding it in my hands!

My editing pass is done, and my first ever book has been uploaded to Amazon! I'll have a physical test print of my book in my hands this Thursday!

I'm very sick of this crunch I've put myself under trying to prepare Born of Silicon book 1 for an Amazon release, but at least it's almost over. I cannot wait to just relax, play Factorio, and let a week of my life disappear.
