A locus deck from The Ball Pit went 2-1 this weekend with Door to Nothingness as its wincon. Pure joy (though I’ve since cut down on the number of Loci available).

INW CubeFest 2025 this past weekend was a blazing success. ~50 folks, infinite fun, one 7-pod of 100 Ornithopters whose drafters asked me to hop in as head judge to round out the pod, and which I 3-0’d with some chagrin… can’t wait to do it again next year.

INW CubeFest 2025 this past weekend was a blazing success. ~50 folks, infinite fun, one 7-pod of 100 Ornithopters whose drafters asked me to hop in as head judge to round out the pod, and which I 3-0’d with some chagrin… can’t wait to do it again next year.
I think it was the original way to break the card? Also I did some brief Scryfall searching and these two are funny

Seven stones for seven years.
Most marriages only come with one proposal, but our little life together has certainly not been “normal.” We’re functionally different humans from 2018.

Yakima is now safe with her owner.
Friends and I got back to our BNB today to find a large dog hiding under our deck, with a *very* bad leg wound that looked a few days old. Collar, no tag. The island’s vet is closed. Police located a woman with a lost dog who picked her up crying. I need a nap.
