I need this recipe. Brown butter is one of my favorite 3 food groups (with “on bread” and “cheese board”). I browned the butter - and added bourbon - in our pecan pie for today.

I’ve got some pre-pandemic starter that seems to be super forgiving. I’m in Beaverton and happy to drop a jar by anywhere reasonable or leave some at the Axe & Rose for pickup.

Driving back from a 24 hour race at Suttle Lake. This was the 5 minutes it wasn’t sleeting or snowing sideways. What kind of crazy person runs for 24 hours in that weather (or ever)?

Debauchery and Liverpool watching at Ilani casino on our way north with a crew of friends for an all sports weekend, Sinclair gear on amidst the Timbers gear. Timbers game today, Seahawks (my first NFL game) and Mariners tomorrow. Not sure I made enough Jell-O shots. #RCTID

Ha! I felt so bad for everyone that day, but Jeff tried so hard in that blizzard! My folks gave up and left at halftime after huddling in the bathroom away from the wind for a while. I wasn’t sure I’d ever convince them to go to an away game again. They have, but summers only now!
