She may want to consider therapy for herself (or at least check in w/a friend) rather than flying crosscountry to hand deliver an absentee ballot to ensure her daughter votes the “right” way. Our past influences our future, of course, but there are healthy boundaries too to limit next gen trauma.

I rewatched the 2023 Albert Brooks documentary by Rob Reiner cuz I wanted to see the banter between two guys who have been friends since grade school and truly loved each other. It was a lovely way to remember Rob Reiner.

My understanding is that the print now comes out of Des Moines with a 4:15pm deadline. Which in my world, makes the print edition nearly worthless. After more than 50 years, we have gone full digital. Sad on many levels.
