Nendoruna update: I finally figured out how to sew on sleeves. I SORTA figured out shirt collars. Adding trim: OOF. There's always next time...
Also his faceup has faded despite being sealed 😩 The plastic on this faceplate is different from real nendo ones which might be why. #obitsuroid #dollsky

I made KFC chicken rice last night. Well, really it's Popeye's chicken rice, since that's what I had on hand. Basically you put leftover fried chicken with your rice while it's cooking, and the spices in the breading flavor the rice. 🍜 🍽️

I have acquired the fancy rice cooker. It has a sauté function and only two parts need to be washed (the pot and the top inner lid) Genuinely excited to cook with this 🍚 🍜 🍽️

Decided to do some wig styling for 1/4th-scale Varuna and Hariette yesterday, only to discover I had put my tiny curling iron in storage so couldn't do all that I wanted to 🫠I did put elf ears on Varuna tho!
Dunno if I'm going to do his faceup myself or commission someone else to do it...(1/3)

tonight's dollwork: made a slightly more accurate version of the Cuento cross stole, and tried making the innerwear leggings as well. While there are still changes I need to make to both patterns, i'm feeling pretty good about how Varuna's outfit is coming along :>

Well, I had to give up on an actual coat pattern because I couldn't figure out how to attach the side panels 😔 so I just made a slightly longer version of a long sleeved shirt pattern lol. I'll have to make it even longer...
Also I have to get better at stitching things in general 😂

Newbury Comics is selling BJD blind boxes--have seen the Inedible Doll Moon Bunny and Laura Black & White Spectrum series so far.

I love these EP2 Casra cutscenes! He clearly wants to help the Guardian but can't be obvious about it. Seeing how he manages to slip the protagonist information even in his difficult situation is so interesting...i feel like every time I go back and watch a scene, something new jumps out at me.
