It’s a thank you note. A year ago, I told you I tried to stop drinking and I wanted to make it to a year. You encouraged me. And I did it! Many times I thought I wouldn’t, but I just kept your words as my benchmark.

What a brilliant brave woman. I grew up watching her on television and she was always the person that stood out as a leader. I loved her tenacity. I wish more people knew about her.
