Throughout our travels in the UK, we saw many cemeteries that noted Commonwealth War Graves. In Tomnahurich Cemetery in Inverness we found reminders of Canadian lives lost. This one was especially poignant: Private T McMullan, November 11, 1918.

We said a sad, unexpected farewell to Pepper yesterday. I’ve referred to her as Marty’s “retirement cat”. They enjoyed a lot of lap time together. The house seems a little too quiet today. 🐈⬛
