Wishing you all the best with your week ahead. I can totally relate to having things passed off by ones parent(s). And assisting with tech related questions - that a given when visiting.

Good luck with the swimming suit search, too. That quest is THE WORST!

Yes, absolutely true! When my mother-in-law died in mid-Sept 2015, the Social Security money she had received earlier in that month was withdrawn directly from her bank account automatically.

I gave a copy of 'Unless' to my parents when it came out. My dad, who rarely read fiction, told me it moved him to tears. So that's one reason that book is extra special to me.

Yes, I have watched the Station Eleven series. Have you? It takes some real departures from the book and I watched it with some distance from reading the book. So, I didn't object to the changes. I thought the actors were all excellent.

I love the idea of sharing Canadian reads today. You all have already mentioned some of my favourites.

I'm recommending -
'The Wayfinders' by
Wade Davis
'Station Eleven' by Emily St. John Mandel
'Indian Horse' by Richard Wagamese
'Republic of Love' by Carol Shields

We watched Fisk and absolutely LOVED IT!

I, too, recently read Lessons in Chemistry and have suggested it for Book Club. I am currently reading Starter Villain, which is a goofy, light, fun read.
