A beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived on my doorstep this morning. An unexpected thank you. What could be better? Of course I took out my camera! Flowers are unparalleled delights!

The mind is like the ocean. And deep in this ocean, beneath the surface, it’s calm and clear. And no matter what the surface conditions are, whether it’s flat or choppy or even a full gale storm, deep in the ocean it’s tranquil and serene.

Thank you to all the incredible musicians of New Orleans and beyond, who created an uplifting French Quarter Fest celebrating our shared humanity. Music cuts through everything.

Luxuriating with my morning coffee and oatmeal on this beautiful day. The sun is shining and the birds are singing.

I went to see Hamilton again last night. What a brilliant play. Watching it with the lens of the current events was a new experience, for sure.

The prompt was blooms / blossoms. I attended my first Moth Story Slam last night and it was incredibly inspiring.
“The Moth’s mission is to promote storytelling and to honor and celebrate the diversity and commonality of human experience.”

Just to be clear, today we are marching BECAUSE we love our country. We are going in peace and will not be deterred.

Went to a fabulous screening last night on a film 12 years in the making, Free for All: The Public Library. It was so well done and timely. The nationwide release is scheduled for April 29 at 9pm on PBS nationwide. Don’t miss it. It is about our collective history.

My best defense against dysregulation is my breath. I’m reading James Nestor’s book, Breath, and am realizing like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz, I always had it with me!
