Why is it that Hegseth talks over women, long after the point where it's even arguably acceptable, and argues with them like he's asking the questions, not the other way around? He can say whatever he wants, but it's clear he doesn't respect women or even the offices they hold.

Here's my main takeaway from the Gaetz news: they aren't invincible. They won't get everything they want. We can't stop everything but we can stop some things. We should stop what we can and delay what we can't again and again and again.

To pull from Adorno this is the very basis of fascism. It's a system that always needs something to lash out at even if you control everything. It's inherently an empty meaningless maw of our group violence
