It's not GC women putting people into little boxes. Women, born women, can be anything: warriors, engineers, masc-dressing. They just can't be men. And little boys can be gentle and like pink, but that doesn't make them girls. Those who say it does show tragic adherence to gender norms.

We focus on those most likely to commit sexual/violent offences, making women's spaces unsafe if they're allowed to enter. That means men, however they identify - transitioning doesn't turn them into pussy cats.
AND we're entitled to privacy dignity and freedom of association.

I thought we got past this on 'the other place', but it seems we're starting from scratch here. Endless legal cases have established women's right to argue for single-sex spaces, which are, you must realise, legal under the Equality Act. FWS at the Supreme Ct in Nov will clarify further.

Don't you just love how intolerant the 'be kind' brigade are, with all these comments? & those mods - do they want @bsky.app to be just an echo chamber where no debate happens? It'll be as short-lived as the other Twitter replacements if they don't resolve this. Might even find themselves in court.

.@moderation.bsky.app needs to adjust its attitude to allow posts supporting women's rights. Sex is also a protected characteristic & protecting/promoting sex-based rights is entirely legal & protected by UK law.
Do they want Bsky to be a serious contender to Twitter or not?
