" The difference was that rather than a blanket ban, the UK would choose what to ban a “a bit more slowly or gradually in a prioritised way”. " Basically, sod Peoples health and don't reduce Business profits.

Tbf, It's a "regulator, which, like ofwat and ofgen, is pretty useless, more akin to a chocolate teapot.
February 9, 2026 at 4:13 PM
Trump lied. Not news.
February 7, 2026 at 11:06 PM
The man is a mentally retarded fuckwit, his supporters are racist rednecks and for Karoline Leavitt to claim it's a Lion King "thing" is bollocks. As for the Republican party who created this fuck up by endorsing him as their candidate? They should be voted out of existence. The USA is fucked
February 7, 2026 at 12:14 AM
If it's important to the US, it's important to us. Time for the UK to invest in its minerals, not hand them over to anyone else. we've done that far to often in the past.
February 5, 2026 at 3:45 PM
Tbh, I'm not sure any Trump arse licker/ voter would know what election integrity is
February 2, 2026 at 11:30 PM
Unfortunately, that would mean Starmer would have to grow a pair. He won't.
January 29, 2026 at 11:27 PM
Well apart from the 2 big signs. Fair credit ICE are thicker than we thought.
January 29, 2026 at 7:02 PM
Just tell the Orange grifter to F~~k off
January 28, 2026 at 10:41 PM
He really does need to stop sucking up to " Daddy"
January 26, 2026 at 8:38 PM
So, basically, Federal Agents & the Department of Homeland not really Security lied. A bit like doddery Don and his Lie Social feed, only followed by fuckwits and deviants.
January 25, 2026 at 12:34 AM
" The government said this would “give stability to investors”. " They've already had the stability by cashing in, but we've suffered due to a lack of investment. Seems Labour have forgotten their election slogan of Change & just allowed the public to be ripped off again. Starmer & co are charlatans

...Withdraw all European countries from the World Cup, the list is endless. Either Europe, as a whole, fronts up, including those supposedly neutral countries, or it'll be treated like a doormat.
January 18, 2026 at 11:45 PM
A bit of naff hand wringing is about all we'll get. The only way to treat the Narcissistic bully, is to fight fire with fire. He doesn't do diplomacy, so threaten to dump US treasury bonds, withdraw military co-operation, make the 5 eyes, 4 eyes.
January 18, 2026 at 11:42 PM
Well, apart from more fuel profits for his mates. 😏
January 17, 2026 at 10:43 PM
About time the UK, EU & the rest of NATO, got a spine & fronted up to the orange bully. He wouldn't know diplomacy, if it slapped him round the face. It's sod all to do with security, he wants to line his and his mates pockets and deflect from Epstein., egged on by his anti Europe VP
January 17, 2026 at 10:35 PM
Says David Lammy. No actual evidence and let's be honest, can you really see VD Jance criticising his bosses mate, sorry, ex mate, sorry, new best mate?
January 10, 2026 at 11:32 PM
And we’re not going to have Russia or China as a neighbor.” Maths / Geo lessons for the dullard known as Dozy Don. Russia: Closest point to US = 3.8K. To Greenland = 5017K. USA to Greenland = 4900K.
January 9, 2026 at 11:26 PM
.. criminal, especially as the USA ultimately fucked it up. If Greenland was that important, they wouldn't have closed down so many bases over the years. Trump's only interest is lining his own pockets & those of his rich mates. Europe & the UK need to grow a pair, rather than cower before a bully
January 9, 2026 at 11:02 PM
I'd rather he'd have said we'd help defend Greenland. Currently the US cannot be trusted. For the US to threaten a country that supported the USA's after they used NATO's article 5, the only country ever to do so,& suffered the 3rd highest deaths per million population in Afghanistan is .....

Everyone would like " pay restoration", but it won't happen. If the Docs think they should get it, whilst the rest of us, the tax payers, who fund them, didn't, they're living in cloud cuckoo land, especially as they'll also end up doing private work, charging a fortune. A reality check is required
December 13, 2025 at 12:31 AM
In effect It is as it spends money. Unfortunately they waste a great deal. And yes I know plenty who work for it. They're employed by NHS Trusts, with funding from the centre. I work in engineering, where we make a profit, which is taxed and helps pays for the NHS.
December 12, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Every worker would love "pay restoration". However, that only works if the business they work for can afford it. The NHS cannot. These Doctors need to live in the real world. Taxpayers are not the bottomless pit, that they appear to think it is.

Fair credit, it's a poor design, that seems to have been cobbled together during a coffee break. It smacks of blocky, not sleek. It should have been put out to multiple design studios or a competition, like the new national Rail Clock.
December 9, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Maybe tighten up the tax rules so there is no chance of tax avoidance or change the rules, so that online companies pay UK tax before they pay coughs, " licence fees" to their, coughs, " parent " companies in say, Ireland or Luxembourg, etc and ban / amend inheritance tax avoiding Trusts.
